Athens Nautical Club team is excited to announce the start of “Summer Camp 2025” for children aged 7 to 16 years old.
At the Athens Nautical Club’s Summer Camp, children are introduced to the sports of Windsurfing, SUP, and Kayaking by qualified coaches, while group leaders are active athletes of the Club. The program is designed for children with little or no prior experience in these sports.
This is a program offering a first contact and basic training in water sports. Summer Camp also serves as a powerful motivation for children to discover the sport that suits them best—and fall in love with it for life. In fact, many of the Club’s competitive athletes began their journey through our Summer Camps.
Most importantly, children spend their time in a dreamlike setting, right next to nature and the sea, in absolute safety—making new friends, gaining unique experiences, and creating unforgettable memories!
Summer Camp 2025 begins on Tuesday, June 17, and the program is completed on Friday, September 5.

The daily schedule of the Summer Camp is full of action for our young friends.
Our experienced coaches and qualified Team Leaders will introduce each child individually to the water sports of Windsurfing, Kayaking, and SUP. Learning these sports is an exciting and enjoyable experience for all the children participating in our summer activities.
The program includes:
- Learning to windsurf
- Learning to SUP (Stand Up Paddle)
- Learing Kayak and Surfski
- Games in the sea and on the Beach
- Snack and Lunch (Daily)
The Summer Camp’s program includes theory and practice and it’s not limited to a simple demonstration of sports. Each team has an excess of equipment, unlike other summer camps where a single piece of gear may be shared among twenty or more children. As a result, progress is rapid, the children develop a genuine love for the sports, and many evolve into budding Sailors and Rowers in just one session.
Our Team Leaders are coaches and athletes of the Athens Nautical Club, distinguished at the World Championship level.

- Athens Nautical Club’s Summer Camp is not just a simple activity during the holidays. It is serious training in the sports that are taught. It is not just a demonstration. It can serve as preparation for joining the Club’s sports departments, which operate year-round. These are academies and competitive teams where young athletes learn sailing techniques safely and correctly, specifically Triangle Sailing.
- Children from the windsurfing department who started through the summer camps have dominated competitions with great success. They became members of the National Windsurfing Team of the Hellenic Sailing Federation (H.S.F.), achieving national distinctions every year, as well as European and World-level accolades.
- Children from the SUP and SURFSKI departments, starting at the summer camp and later continuing in our academies, managed to become members of the National Team of the Hellenic Canoe-Kayak Federation (H.C.K.F.) and achieved first-place finishes and significant distinctions at the national, European, and World levels.
