A World-Class Windsurfing Event Sets Sail in Artemida !

For one exciting week, the city of Artemida will be at the heart of the international sailing scene, as it will host 200 athletes from 15 countries, along with their coaches and support teams, for a world-class regatta.

Renowned for its strong winds, challenging wave conditions, and the safety of its sheltered bay, Artemida offers an exceptional maritime arena. The WINDSURFER WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 2025 will further cement the city’s reputation as a premier destination for windsurfing athletes and enthusiasts from around the globe.

The event will kick off on Saturday, October 11th, at 18:00, with the National Teams Parade & Opening Ceremony. A colorful parade of national teams along Artemida’s coastal road will lead into the ceremony at the city stadium. The celebration will bring together athletes, coaches, spectators, locals and visitors in a true festival of sport, calture and international friendship.
