The next generation of athletes starts at the Rising Stars Summer Camp!

The Rising Stars Summer Camp of Athens Nautical Club is designed for young sailors who have already acquired basic windsurfing skills and are ready to take the next step through a more structured training program.

The goal of the camp is to provide a smooth transition from learning to athletic development through technical coaching, on-water training, introduction to racing and the development of a strong sporting mindset.

The Rising Stars Summer Camp is the ideal intermediate stage for young athletes who wish to prepare for their future entry into the Club’s Techno 293 racing teams.

The Goal

A program designed for young athletes who aspire to advance their windsurfing skills and begin their journey into competitive racing.

Training and guidance from experienced coaches with a proven track record of developing young athletes for the Club’s racing teams.

A Proven Path to Success

Athletes who began their journey at the Rising Stars Summer Camp have progressed to become national and international champions.

Racing Experience

Introduction to race starts, course navigation, racing procedures and the fundamental principles of course sailing competitions.

Sailing Rules

Learning the fundamental racing rules of sailing through practical examples and interactive training activities.

On-Water Training

Training in real sailing conditions to improve technical skills and support the athletes’ racing development.

Tuesday – Friday

09:00 – 10:00 | Arrival & Equipment Preparation

10:00 – 12:00 | Training Session 1 / Theory
12:00 – 13:00 | Break
13:00 – 15:00 | Training Session 2 / Theory

15:00 – 16:00 | Equipment Storage & Departure

PARTICIPATION FEE

€150 per week

– 20% discount for Athens Nautical Club athletes

Participants must provide their own equipment.

Advance payment by cash, bank transfer or credit/debit card.

USEFUL INFORMATION

The Camp will take place with a minimum of 5 participants.
Participants must hold a valid Hellenic Sailing Federation (HSF) Athlete License.
Participants must provide their own equipment.
All personal belongings and equipment should be clearly marked with the athlete’s full name.
Arrival and departure must be carried out by parents or the designated guardian.
A light breakfast is recommended at least one hour before the start of the program.
The use of mobile phones and other electronic devices is discouraged during the Camp.
Athens Nautical Club accepts no responsibility for the loss of personal belongings.
On-water training sessions may be adjusted according to weather and sea conditions.
In the event of inappropriate behavior or repeated failure to comply with the Camp rules, Athens Nautical Club reserves the right to remove a participant from the Camp without refund.
Athens Nautical Club reserves the right to use photographs and videos of participants on its website, social media channels, and promotional materials (brochures, posters, etc.), unless the parent or legal guardian has submitted a written objection to the Club’s Secretariat.
